I’m a photographer living in Indiana, originally from Florida. I’ve used Lensbaby lenses and optics since 2018. I have an associate degree in graphic design, NYIP (New York Institute of Photography) Professional Photography Certification, and had a photo published in the book “Chasing Magic” by the Women Capture Magic group alongside other women photographers from around the world. I grew up with disposable cameras before venturing into the first point-and-shoot cameras, which I had many versions of, followed by a bridge camera, Canon APSC, the mirrorless Canon M series to the Canon RP full frame.

I love photographing nature, especially flowers and insects that are often overlooked. I usually have a Lensbaby lens or optic on the camera at all times, except for photographing birds and shy butterflies. I really enjoy the Omni system, the different crystals, cutouts and mirrors offer endless possibilities and they help with “seasonal clutter” from the change in weather of the Midwest. I enjoy using the magic of Lensbaby to turn a simple scene or flower into something special with the magic created in camera - whether it’s with a velvet soft focus dreamy effect, sweet effect, twist’s swirl effect and Omni effects. I often reach for the Velvet 85 first, then change to other lenses or optics for more options of different creative effects on the subject I am photographing.  I enjoy the wonder and excitement of photography with my camera, seeing what discoveries nature provides with the Lensbaby creative choices.
